Ever since Obama started beating Hilary in the primaries, fear has been raised about him. Now that he is going head to head with John McCain, the fears have only gotten worse. But what are American’s afraid of? Do they have a reason to be scared?
For one, they are afraid because Obama is black. Well, half black, but that’s black enough to be scared of. I mean, who knows what the man might do with all that half-black blood in him? He might be affiliated with a gang. Bloods or crypts or something, and he could hire them all to be his cabinet. Then he’d try to pop a cap is someone’s ass. You never know!
Next, people are afraid because his father was (not only black) but also a Muslim. Although Obama has denied he is Muslim that doesn’t quell anyone’s fears. He could be a secret Muslim. He’s probably even friends with Osama bin Laden, I mean, their names sound alike enough. Also, his middle name is Hussein! Like Sadam Hussein? Yes! He might as well be named Barrak bin Secret Muslim Hussein Osama!
Not only are all of the above very frightening prospects, but Obama also wants to socialize medicine. He wants everyone in the US to get healthcare. What? Who wants healthcare when it’s so much fun to be in debt and sick? Anyway, socializing healthcare is the first step to communism. Add that to the list. Obama is a communist who hates sick people!
Now, if that’s not enough reason to be terrified of him, Stephan Colbert broke the story that Obama is a “secret time-traveling Nazi Muslim.” That’s right. He wanted to travel back in time and talk to Hitler. Who knew?
Also, I had a dream the other night that Obama was the commander of an army of undead llamas and horrible pirates. I know I just dreamed it, but it must be true! Who can trust a man to rule the US when he secretly controls zombies and pirates? Not me!
Finally, Obama wants the US to change. I know. I think it’s the worst possible thing too. If we have to change, it won’t be the same old same old. Things might actually get different. Gasp! Better? No! We can’t have that! Not if it’s in the hands of a Half Black Secret Muslim Communist Time Traveling Nazi with a terrible army at his whim! We’d rather just have another four years of good old Bush, please.

You are perfectly right. He could be all that and some more. His change thing is frightening. We don’t want US to change. We don’t want a leader who changes stuff after Bush has worked hard on the old order.
Enough! McCain please, now!

Most are afraid because he has nooooo credibility. what’s more he’s an opportunist who will say or do anything to get elected. People just don’t trust him, and not because he’s black.. or whatever nonsense you wrote above.

Why was it ever a problem in the first place? Unless someone has an issue with race it should have never been a problem to began with.
If you read any of my past posts on Obama you will see why he has no credibility in my eyes.
I have no problem with the colour of his skin, I have problems with his far left ideology, his lack of experience, his penchant for lying (and yes he has lied about many things including the fact that he had no idea what the Rev Wright was preaching for the 20 years he attended that church. People have been duped and blinded into thinking he will bring change... but what kind of change.. change can be for the worse and that is what I fear about Obama.

It shouldn’t have been a problem, but racism existed back in the day, and it was a terrible thing. I think most people have evolved since then, although I will agree racism still exists, but sadly it exists across the globe. There will always be people who consider others inferior. If racism still existed to the extent it did decades ago, we wouldn’t have blacks in positions of power and influence.

So, in your opinion. Your opinion is not a fact. I see him as credible, and that’s my opinion. The sky is blue, that’s a fact. See the difference?
Also, all politicians lie. McCain lies. Bush lies like it’s going out of style. Every human alive lies. It’s a totally moot point.

Change can also be for the better. You think the US is on the right track? The world hates the US, go America! Everyone who is scared of Obama is scared of the change he will bring, yet there is no basis for your fears. It’s called fear mongering and McCarthy did it during the Second Red Scare. Bush used it to get us into Iraq. Some of us are above that.
You all sound like the Little Red Hen. ”The sky is falling! The sky if falling!” Um, no. America will endure, whether it’s Obama or McCain. If we endured Bush no. 2 we can endure anything. Get over it.
